SyncMyCal 1.5 RELEASED

We are very happy to announce the release of SyncMyCal ver 1.5. This is out best version yet. Here are some of the key changes/features:

  • "Get My Google Calendars" - you no longer need to copy paste your Google Calendar Url from the GCal web page. You simply enter your username and password, and SyncMyCal will automatically get all your Google Calendars for you to choose from.
  • Auto Sync feature - a lot of users requested for this one. Now you can setup a schedule for the syncing, and the tool will automatically sync.
  • Latest Google API - Updated the Google API; this should improve stability.
  • Proxy Server Support - Now it works behind proxy servers. Should have thought of that before, I guess. But better late then never.
  • Enhanced Error Logging - we have made changes which will allow us to provide better support in the remote event that something goes boink in your SyncMyCal.
More to come.. as we go crazy with this tool.

SyncMyCal 1.4 released

Yup, here's another update to SyncMyCal. We are really working hard to incorporate feedback from our users as soon as we can. As is natural, we are addressing functional problems being faced before addressing feature requests (but feature requests are also being queued, and will be implemented soon). Below are the two main changes in 1.4:

  • Better support for MS Exchange Environments - some of the users were facing issues with Exchange Server
  • Fixed an issue where users were getting deleted events in some scenarios.
Stay tuned for more updates :)

Cheers.

SyncMyCal version 1.3 released

Some of our users have been facing problems in syncing in certain use cases that we were not able to produce during our testing. However, since these users were kind enough to help us reproduce these problems, we have been able to remove these bugs from our product.

Version 1.3 fixes the following problems:

  • Problem related to duplication and deletion of recurring events (reported in some rare cases when an instance of the recurrence does not lie in the synchronization window) has been fixed.
  • Fixed the parsing exception encountered by some users in the GMT time zone.
Aside from these two, we did fix a few other minor issues. SyncMyCal is becoming more and more stable with every release and we will be adding new features as we go along (we have had some nice feature requests).

Cheers.

Having Trouble with SyncMyCal??

Well, we have received some feedback from people who have started downloading our software. Most often the problem has to do with settings (GCal Url, etc.). We have a troubleshooter at the support site, which should be able to help you solve these issues.

We will continue to add more FAQ and support scenarios to the Support Center as and when we get more and more feedback. If you have an issue that does not get resolved by the FAQs then there is a provision to raise tickets there as well. We encourage you to raise a ticket which will help us in addressing your query in a timely manner.

The Support Center can be reached by clicking the Support link on the SyncMyCal site or you can go to the Support Center by clicking here.
