SyncMyCal Mobile and version 1.8

We are glad to announce the release of SyncMyCal Mobile, a Pocket Outlook-Google calendar sync tool for PDA’s.

With SyncMyCal Mobile, you can manage all your calendars, keep yourself updated and in touch with your family and friends, anytime, anywhere. It allows you to synchronize your Pocket Outlook’s calendar with your Google calendar, over the air, and hence keeps you updated and in touch. SyncMyCal Mobile can presently be used with Windows Mobile 5.0, and we soon plan to extend the supported platforms.

We also released SyncMyCal 1.8 version, which now has “One click installers” allowing ease of installation.

Watch out for more....

Have you guys considered synching by Outlook category? That would be very nice so that I could synch, say, my personal events and not my work events.

yes, please ! A filter based on categories would be extremly helpful !

Would love to use this on a Pocket PC 2003 edition as well as a Smartphone platform (WM 5.0). It woould then become a Blackberry killer!

Do we have to purchase the Outlook version separately from the PDA sync version? Or is there one that does it all. Sync Gmail to Outlook on my PC and sync my PC Outlook to my PDA

Google Apps for Domains Calendar support is needed (but there is a trick to sync with a GAfD Calendar by sharing it with a normal Google Calendar).

Waiting for a smartphone (5 or 6) version of this. No doubt it is on the way .... :-) ?

I agree with syncing by Outlook category: I have 5 google calendars. I can't sync them all, otherwise it puts all the events on every google calendar! I did it once... not good, but as I'm only using the trial it was only 7 days worth of deleting :-)

What is the "Advanced filtering" feature mentioned for 1.8?

Hi, I have had the same problems as spookypeanut; I have 2 separate google calendars (personal/business) and if I set them both up to syncronise, I end up with my events being duplicated across both google calendars!

I also put my vote in for pocket pc 2003 support. That would be great. This is exactly the product I was looking for.

What happened to synchronizing Outlook contacts with Google contacts? That WAS on the "Coming Soon" list a few weeks ago.

This would be a HUGE benefit to users worldwide. Please!

I vote for outlook 2000 support. This was promised quite a while ago, but has not yet been provided

Any plans to release a version of this that will work on a Palm (Treo)? Please? I'll gladly pay for one that works (e.g., not GooSync).

Another vote for a Palm-friendly version (OS5) of SyncMyCal Mobile.

Can SyncMyCal Mobile be set to run in the background and auto-sync at a set time interval? That would be really useful!

I chose Synchronize. It did well. In addition, it changed the events on my Google Calendar to be 30 minutes later so that an event at 8am now starts at 830am and worse of all, not all events are changed 30 minutes so consecutive events now overlap. But, when I took a look at Outlook, the events are all ok. My timezone is Singapore. Maybe there's some mistake in timezone adjustment.

I would love to have a version that works with my Windows Mobile 2003 Pocket PC.

If I buy an Outlook sync, do I also get the Mobile version as well? Or do I have to buy both? And, what's the point to buy the mobile version if I can sync the events to Outlook and then again from Outlook to my Pocket PC (which is what I'm now doing).
